Dr Cecile Henderson completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Edinburgh in 2001. She has been working as a family physician ever since finishing her postgraduate medical training in Scotland in 2006.
In June 2016, she moved to
Calgary with her family and has been working as a family doctor since then.
Dr Henderson finds all aspects of family medicine very rewarding. She especially enjoys caring for young families and also has a special interest in medicine for the elderly. Dr Henderson is bilingual and speaks fluent in English and French.

Dr. Xin completed her Family Medicine training from University of Calgary, and has been practising family medicine for the last several years.
Dr. Xin's areas of special interest include Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis and Mental health.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Yasmin Halat to our team.
Dr. Halat attended Ross University School of Medicine from 2008-2013. During her medical training she spent time learning in Miami and New York. From there she spent a year in Saskatoon doing research in Breast Cancer. She then found her way back to Calgary and did her family medicine residency from 2014-2016.
Dr. Halat has a special interest in women's health but enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine.
She is currently not accepting patients.

Dr Khan completed his postgraduate medical training in the United Kingdom. The training consisted of General/Vascular Surgery, followed by Trauma & Emergency Medicine, including Pediatric Emergency.
In 2008 Dr Khan went into a 3 year Family Medicine residency training program at Kent, Surrey & Sussex Deanery. The specialties that Dr Khan trained in included Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Elderly Medicine, Psychiatry, Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
Dr Khan's areas of special interest are Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis and Mental health. Dr Khan practiced as a Family Physician in UK,
before moving to Calgary in Jan 2014. He is married and has 3 kids. In his free time he enjoys running, working out, rowing and spending time with his family.
Dr Al-Witry's practise interests include: health and lifestyle maintenance and long term care of his patients.
Dr Al-Witry also performs minor surgical procedures including the removal of warts, moles and skin tags.He is bilingual and speaks fluent English and Arabic.

Dr. Serge Kongolo completed his residency in Family Medicine at McGill University in Montreal. He spent the last 6 years practicing family medicine in Calgary with a special interest in Chronic pain management and addiction medicine.
Dr Kongolo speaks French, Swahili and English fluently. He is able to understand Spanish, Italian and enjoys learning new languages. When not at work he enjoys learning and playing music instruments. He also has a passion for photography, tennis and hiking.

We would like to welcome Dr Matthew Lauzon (Internal Medical Specialist).
Dr. Lauzon, MD FRCPC is a 2012 graduate of the Occupational Medicine program at the University of Alberta. Prior to this he completed his FRCPC in Internal Medicine following residency training at the University of Calgary. Dr. Lauzon has experience working in a variety of settings, both during his fellowship and medical training. He currently works in acute adult medicine at the South Health Campus in Calgary, as well as acting as the Workplace Health and Safety Medical Consultant for Calgary Zone, Alberta Health Services.
